Hapki-Do is a Korean martial art that is a form of self-defense. Hapki-Do uses short-range methods such as grappling, throwing, pain compliance, joint locks, and pressure point strikes, while also employing long-range striking methods such as kicks and punches. Hapki-Do also focuses on traditional weapons, including the sword, nunchaku, cane, knife, and staff.
The Spring Grove Flying Dragons offers a Hapki-Do class that is fun and informative. Students learn to defend themselves during dangerous situations in a calm, collected manner.
